Small Events and Parties
Sweet Pea Nourishment can make your special occasion or even a simple gathering of family and friends even sweeter by preparing a menu of only the most seasonal and delicious foods grown nearby. This type of food always makes for great conversation and warm bellies. We will work together on tailoring the right menu and presentation for you and your crew, and of course clean those soapy dishes afterwards.
Cooking and Collaboration**
Sweet Pea works with each client on shaping the most healthful and delicious menu plans based on his or her health needs, tastes, and the freshest, most seasonal foods available. This process is a really enjoyable and collaborative effort that can take on many forms including: meal preparation in your home or offsite; guidance and instruction in selecting and preparing optimal meals based on local and seasonal foods; and purchasing, preparing, and storing five days' worth of meals so everything is ready for your busy week ahead. Families are encouraged!

With substantial background in establishing urban nutrition programs, garden-to-table curriculum, and fresh food cooking instruction across all income and age levels, Sweet Pea Nourishment has a generous helping of experience to offer your school, community group, or gathering. No matter age or background, Sweet Pea holds fun and inviting workshops that teach each group how to feed themselves healthfully, and locally, every day. In leading such workshops and demonstrations, Sweet Pea always focuses on each group's resources and level of access, in order to come up with real life solutions.
